At the Clinton Global Citizens Awards in September of 2015, ChildFund was recognized for its contributions and leadership in the recent Ebola crisis. In partnership with Airlink, ChildFund helped to deploy three airplanes with critical medical supplies. In addition, ChildFund teams were some of the first on the ground in response to the Ebola crisis in Liberia and Sierra Leone, where they opened nine care centers to assist children who had lost parents to the disease. The organization also went on to ship 10 ocean containers of supplies in order to keep these facilities operating.
Since its inception some 75 years ago, ChildFund International has served over 18 million children worldwide. To learn more about the nonprofit, please visit www.childfund.org.
